Description
Description | The proposed project concerns the Africa Fintech Hub. It provides a platform for fintech associations to pool resources, knowledge and relationships to better support fintechs in Africa. The hub also provides an aggregated overview of the fintech sector and actors on the continent that has hitherto been fragmented. It is hosted by the African Fintech Network. To establish the Africa Fintech Hub (The Hub), a gender friendly digital platform that will enable the Fintech Associations across Africa to pool resources, knowledge and strengthen relationships and partnerships. The Hub will be hosted and managed by the Africa Fintech Network (AFN). As there are comparatively fewer female led or female owned fintechs than the male led ones, special emphasis will be made on the Hub to showcase initiatives from the female led fintechs across Africa in order to garner support from multiple partners and investors. The Hub will also enable AFN to market and profile strategic Fintech events across Africa. The project will provide fintech associations and their members, a digital hub that will enable them to network, access markets and expand their activities and knowledge base. This in turn will benefit the customers they serve through gender centric approaches. The hub will also focus on services that profile female led or female owned fintechs. |
