This intervention concerns the Fashionomics Africa Online Initiative. It’s in line with FAPA’s objectives of promoting innovative programs for the development of MSMEs that will stimulate skills development and trade. The project fits well into the two strategic pillars of FAPA (Creating Enabling Investment and Business Climate) and Promoting MSMEs. The African TA&A industry plays an important role as a source of income and employment, through its contribution to a country’s export, as well as through employment creation of women and the related ripple effects. With an estimated annual US$ 2.5 billion in apparel exports from Africa, the TA&A industry is an important driver of growth in African economies. The Project Main Components: are (1) Fashionomics Africa Digital Platform Development, (2) Marketing Services and Content Development, (3) Capacity Building Activities and (4) Project Support.
