Multinational - Industrial policy support

The Industrial Policy Support Project (IPSP) aims to support the implementation of the Bank’s Industrialize Africa Strategy (IAS). The TA will range from support to industrial policy implementation and evaluation, to feasibility studies and assessment of investment needs for industrial parks and clusters and support to special economic zones regulatory and governance reforms. Sharing of best practices in industrial development between the three beneficiary countries and JICA will be promoted throughout the project and through a mid-term international high-level conference. The project comprises the four main components: (1) Improving efficiency of Ethiopia’s industrial policies through industrial cluster planning, (2) Assisting Morocco in the delivery of its Industrial Acceleration Plan, (3) Improving efficiency of the Emerging Senegal Plan and (4) Knowledge Sharing through an AfDB-JICA industrial policy conference.
