Multinational Road Doussala-Dolisie

The Multinational Road Doussala-Dolisie Development Project and facilitate transport on the Libreville-Brazzaville corridor aims to strengthen the regional integration and exchange process within Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) while facilitating the interconnection of road networks in Central, Eastern and Southern Africa. As part of this project, a grant from the NEPAD Special Infrastructure Project Preparation Fund was requested to finance studies related to this project. Two phases are envisaged, the feasibility and ODA study relating to: (i) asphalting of the main axis, including the connection works to the road network serving the localities crossed, (ii) construction of the bridge border crossing on the Ngongo River; (iii) transport and transit facilitation actions including the establishment of a single border control post; and (iv) other measures to better protect road assets.
