Multipurpose Maritime terminal development PPP project in Ciénaga

The project involves the development of a multipurpose and intermodal public service maritime terminal in the port area of ​​Ciénaga (Magdalena), Colombia.The planned construction activities include the building of a 1.49 km-long and 11 m-wide access walkway (viaduct) with a conveyor belt, pipe support, and a designated area for vehicular circulation. This transformation will convert the existing infrastructure, previously used solely for coal transportation, into a versatile dock connected to the national railway network. The upcoming port facility will feature a maritime dock spanning approximately 333 m in length and 22 m in width. The dock will consist of a concrete superstructure with concrete or steel heads and steel piles. It will be equipped with a linear ship loader capable of efficiently loading coal, coke, and hydrocarbons, as well as handling container and general cargo for both loading and unloading purposes.
