Description
Description | The project involves developing Bullet Train stations along the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail corridor with seamless multi-modal connectivity. Facilities such as Multi-Modal Integration (MMI) and station plazas are planned to ensure smooth passenger movement between high-speed rail and local transport options including buses, taxis, and private vehicles. The station plazas will also serve as urban public spaces with amenities like parking zones, pedestrian pathways, street lighting, CCTV surveillance, and fire safety systems. Contracts for MMI and station area development have been awarded for several stations in Gujarat, including Surat, Bilimora, Vapi, Bharuch, Anand, and Vadodara. Construction progress varies across these stations with structural and finishing works underway. |
