Description
Description | The project involves building tenements for project-affected people (PAP) and permanent transit camps (PTC) in Mumbai. Developers were given additional FSI benefits in exchange for constructing these tenements and transit camps, which are meant to be handed over to the SRA and BMC. However, allegations of a Rs 2,000 crore scam have surfaced, claiming developers built luxury flats and commercial shops instead of the tenements and transit camps, selling them for profit. The Maharashtra minister ordered a city-wide audit to verify compliance and take action against irregularities. |
