Information Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority [MMRDA] - MH has come up with Mumbai Trans Harbour Link with a ticket size of 17843 INR Crores. This project in Roads & Bridges sub-sector involves The Project's physical progress is 99.50 percentage. The balance of 0.50 physical work includes the minor works such as connectivity as 4 Ramps at Shivajinagar connecting Coastal Road, 1 up ramp at Jasai connecting NH-348, Food malls & wayside facilities, removal for temporary bridges demobilisation access, etc. However, connectivity of 1 up & down ramp at Shivajinagar, down ramp at Jasai and complete connectivity at Chirle interchange has been established for the bridge to be operational. The project is inaugurated with the auspicious hands of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji on 12.01.2024 and the Atal Setu is opened for Traffic. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project envisages construction of 22 Km sea link, 3+3 lane road bridge from Sewri on Mumbai side to Chirle on NH4B in Nhava on mainland side. it also includes construction of interchanges at Sewri on Mumbai side and at Shivajinagar & at Chirle on mainland side.
