Information Sterlite Power has come up with Mumbai Urja Marg Limited with a ticket size of 2860 INR Crores. This project in Electricity Transmission sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Not Applicable Economic/Social Impact of the Project CERC vide order in Petition Number 151/RC/2022 DATED 25.08.2022 has approved change of name of Vapi-II - North Lakhimpur Transmission Limited to ?Mumbai Urja Marg Limited?. Part A- Additional 400kV outlets from Banaskantha 765/400 kV S/s - Banaskantha 765/400 kV S/s is being developed as a part of Green Energy Corridor [ISTS scheme] which was planned for evacuation of renewable generation [RE] in the Kutch area of Gujarat. To address the high loading envisaged on 400 kV Banaskantha - Sankhari D/c line under high RE scenario, LILO of the second circuit of Zerda - Ranchodpura 400 kV D/c line at Banaskantha [PG] PS was planned. Part B- Establishment of new substation at Vapi/Ambethi area and its associated transmission lines - To meet the increasing demand of Southern Gujarat, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli [DNH] and to address the issue of critical loading at Vapi and Kala 400/220 kV substations, a new substation was proposed near Vapi / Ambethi area to cater to the demand of Southern Gujarat, DNH as there is no space available for installation of additional transformers at existing Vapi 400/220 kV substation. Part C- Additional ISTS feed to Navi Mumbai 400/220 kV substation of POWERGRID - Navi Mumbai Substation [2x315MVA, 400/220kV] was envisaged for meeting increasing demand of Mumbai area and to address critical loadings of the ICTs near Navi-Mumbai substations of MSETCL. Navi Mumbai Substation along with LILO of Padghe [MSETCL] - Khargar 400 kV S/c line at Navi Mumbai is expected to be commissioned soon. Accordingly, in order to ensure supply of power to Mumbai area with reliability and security, the transmission scheme for providing additional ISTS feed to Navi Mumbai 400/220 kV sub- station along-with 220kV outlets from the substation has been planned. Part D- North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme - IX - The present evacuation system from Pare HEP [2x55MW] of NEEPCO consists of the following lines- i. LILO of Ranganadi-Naharlagun / Nirjuli 132 kV S/C line at Pare HEP ii. LILO of one circuit of Ranganadi-Itanagar 132 kV D/C line at Pare HEP Out of four 132kV outlets from Pare HEP, two are connected to Ranganadi HEP and the remaining two to the load centres viz. Naharlagun/Nirjuli and Itanagar. The power from Ranganadi HEP is injected at Pare HEP through Pare - Ranganadi 132kV two circuits, thereby leaving only 2 no. 132kV outlet i.e. Pare - Itanagar and Pare - Naharlagun / Nirjuli for evacuation of 110MW power from Pare HEP and additional power injected at Pare HEP from Ranganadi HEP. This causes overloading of Pare - Naharlagun / Nirjuli 132kV S/c line. Accordingly, the additional transmission system was identified for strengthening the evacuation system associated with Pare HEP, as a part of NERSS-IX scheme
