Municipal Infrastructure Development Project

The development objective of the Tajikistan Municipal Infrastructure Development Project is to improve the availability, quality and efficiency of delivery of basic municipal services to the population of the eight towns which participate in the project. This objective will be achieved by financing three project components: (a) the rehabilitation and repair of basic infrastructure and installations and/or the replacement of equipment of Khochagii Manziliu Kommunali (formerly known as Tajikkomunservis) (KMK) local subsidiary utility enterprises, (b) assistance to the KMK and its local subsidiary utility enterprises in improving their management capacity for the delivery of basic municipal services; and (c) implementation of project activities.
