It is designated as the state of New Mexicos official museum for plants, animals, fish, amphibians and insects. Furthermore, this museum has been collecting and curating the samples for the San Juan River Recovery Program for the last 15 years and maintenance of this collection is required under the Programs Long Range Plan. |
