The project will support AI computing and bitcoin mining operations with more than one gigawatt of data center capacity over time. Kentucky Power will build a new substation to connect the site to a major power grid to ensure sufficient electricity for large-scale operations. The project is expected to generate construction activity, skilled employment, workforce development, infrastructure investment, and tax revenue, reaching full operating capacity by 2030. |
