Description | The Mustang Mineral Processing Plant is a planned uranium and vanadium processing facility located at the former Pinon Ridge Mill site in Montrose County, Colorado. It is designed for a throughput capacity of 1,000 tons per day and aims to serve both Western Uranium's proprietary ore production and toll-milling for third-party ore. The project is progressing with environmental and cultural surveys completed, four quarters of air quality data collected, and ongoing water data collection. The company is preparing a radioactive materials license application and pursuing a Special Use Permit, targeting submission by the end of 2026. |
