The site spans 482 hectares within the Hunter Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone in New South Wales, on land previously used for coal mining. The project involves installing 2.4 km of new overhead power lines to connect to the state's electricity grid, with completion expected in 2028. The project was developed with Japanese partners Idemitsu and MUFG, and an offtake agreement has been secured with an undisclosed international buyer. |
