Description
Description | The 2-year FPA, under the coordination of MV International, focuses to enhance youth participation in democratic life, promote inclusion and diversity, and support the green and digital transitions across Europe. Aligned with the priorities of the call, the project targets youth aged 18–30 especially those with fewer opportunities and supports civil society organisations as agents of change. Over two years, the project will engage more than 2,000 young people and 450 CSO actors across at least 15 EU Member States. Key activities include transnational Youth Assemblies, participatory workshops, bi-monthly learning series (68 hours total), and high-level dialogues with over 100 policymakers. EchoSpaces will be launched as local youth hubs to promote civic education, inclusion, and democratic engagement. The project integrates the European Green Deal and Digital Education Action Plan through initiatives like Green Echo and digital training on civic tech, online activism, and media literacy. Youth will co-create toolkits, podcasts, videos, and policy proposals to amplify their voice in public discourse. MVI will ensure wide-reaching dissemination of the project’s outcomes, targeting an estimated 10,000 individuals across Europe through a strategic mix of digital campaigns, open-access publications, and high-visibility public events. Communication efforts will be youth-friendly, multilingual, and accessible, aiming to engage not only youth and CSOs, but also educators, policymakers, and the wider public. The project will produce a range of scalable and reusable outputs including educational toolkits, practical policy briefs, and a youth-edited magazine that will serve as reference points for further action and replication across EU Member States. Through this, the FPA will contribute to building a more inclusive, participatory, and democratic Europe, fully aligned with the EU Youth Strategy and designed to carry forward the legacy of the European Year of Youth. |
