Description	The project includes the development and construction of the 2.4MW Mwenga wind farm located in Iringa Region, Tanzania. Sponsor is Zimbabwe-based renewables developer Rift Valley Energy. The project will be added to a rural grid network, which supplies electricity to more than 4,500 homes and businesses across 32 villages in the local area. Surplus power is sold to TANESCO under a PPA. The financing comprises a $1.2 million mezzanine loan provided by Camco Clean Energy-managed fund Renewable Energy Performance Platform (REPP).
