The Government Housing Finance Fund (FOVI) Restructuring Project supports the sound development of the social interest housing sector through greater private sector participation in its financing. It supports a transitional phase for FOVI, during which it will undertake a major restructuring. The project has three components: a) financing for FOVI's lending program; b) FOVI institutional development program including primary and secondary market development, a subsidy policy, financial strategy, corporate reorganization, and project management; and c) provision of subsidies under the Special Program for Housing Loans and Subsidies (PROSAVI).
