My Activist Revolution

My Activist Revolution will encourage young people for democratic engagement and active participation on European level. Therefore it gathers young people from 4 CEE countries (AT, SI, PL, IT) in conferences and seminars and 8 member states through online activities (e-democracy tools). 240 youngsters are participating face to face in the events, additionally 200 online, indirectly it will reach a total of 3 million citizens through media. The diverse target group has a focus on disadvantaged social, educational, geographic and migratory backgrounds ensuring gender balance. Specific Objectives and activities: - PARTICIPATION IN AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEMOCRATIC AND CIVIC LIFE OF THE UNION by engaging young people in the political process providing opportunities to identify and formulate their demands - MAKING KNOWN AND PUBLICLY EXCHANGING THEIR VIEWS IN ALL AREAS OF UNION ACTION connecting young people of 4 different countries and beyond transnationally through youth conferences and the e-democracy portal to discuss, refine and agree on their demands in a Central European Youth Manifesto - ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE EU POLICYMAKING PROCESS by the advocacy seminar, online policy hackathons and EP Roundtable to voice their demands to politicians and officials in the European Parliament (EP) and the online consultations as well as empower their further engagement beyond the project through the Activist and Advocacy Academy. With workshops, national and European conferences, formulation of their youth manifesto and its presentation in the EP the diversified partnership proposes a participative methodology enabling direct participation in and understanding of the EU policymaking process. By including disadvantaged young people in EP discussions as well as online consultations it supports a more inclusive policymaking process, and fosters civic and democratic engagement sustainably through the Activist and Advocacy Academy ensuring continued participation.
