Description | The MyHealth@EU Malta Enhancements (MHEME) project aims to develop and enhance Cross Border Digital Health Services for citizens, patients, and healthcare professionals in Malta, in response to the growing demand for innovative healthcare solutions and improved access to high-quality healthcare services. The project aims to improve data sources, introduce ePrescription (eP-B) services, and expand the services to a wider community of health professionals and locations. The project also intends to make all use cases available for citizens and healthcare professionals through analysis of the existing infrastructure and meetings with relevant stakeholders. The NCPeH will work closely with the Cross Border Healthcare team in the Department of Health Policy to ensure that citizens and Malta-based residents are fully informed of the Digital Health services available when travelling abroad. The governance activities related to the delivery of MyHealth@EU services will be funded through this project. These services will be expanded to the growing list of EU member states enrolling in different use cases. This project will support the local digital health ecosystem and open opportunities for different levels of healthcare professionals, strengthening and future-proofing Malta's digital health infrastructure. |
