Description | This project involves the renewal and enhancements to the existing trickling filter system of the wastewater treatment facility that services the North side of the Town of Nackawic as it requires upgrades to extend its useful life. Upgrades will consist of the replacement of the existing settling and humus tanks, replacement of the aluminum dome structure over the trickling filter and rehabilitation of components of the filtration system deemed necessary, along with the installation of a flow meter and a UV disinfection system at the outlet. The project aims to extend the lifespan of the Town’s wastewater treatment facility. |
