Description | Metallurgical Industries Holding Company, through its subsidiary Egyptalum, signed a partnership agreement with Trafigura Group to expand the production capacity of the aluminum complex in Naga Hammadi. The project aims to nearly double the current production capacity from 300,000 tons to approximately 600,000 tons annually. It involves establishing and operating an integrated industrial complex within the existing site, structured as a joint venture between shareholders. The total investment cost is estimated between $750 million and $900 million, financed through self-financing, loans, and international financial institutions, with EFG Hermes as the financial advisor. |
