Nairobi Metropolitan Policing Framework

planned

An ambitious security overhaul aimed at shifting Nairobi's law enforcement strategy toward community-led policing by integrating the National Police Service, Nairobi City County government, and local community leaders into a unified operational command. The framework decentralizes security, establishes joint security committees, integrates county government enforcement officers with the National Police Service, enhances public oversight, and reallocates resources for rapid response units.
