The original construction company, Mota-Engil, exited the project, and Everstrong Capital is seeking to bring on board other multinational contractors. The Kenya National Highways Authority signed an agreement with Everstrong for the construction of the expressway in May 2024. The project involves toll fees for 30 years to recover investment and profit. |
