Description | Information Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam [SJVN] Limited has come up with Naitwar Mori Hydro Electric Project [60 MW] with a ticket size of 1272.79 INR Crores. This project in Energy Generation [Renewable] sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is a run-of-the river scheme located on River Tons in Uttarakashi district of Uttarakhand. It envisages the construction of 30.50 m high barrage, 4.33 km long Head Race Tunnel having 5.6 m dia., 51.65 m deep surge shaft with a dia of 18 m. Power House is underground and houses 2 generating units of 30 MW each. Investment Approval of the project was accorded by GoI on 16.10.2017. All major work packages have been awarded. Construction activities are in progress and the project is schedule to be commissioned by October, 2022. The project shall generate 216 MU in a 90percentage dependable year. |
