This project involves the development of the Nakkas-Basaksehir section of the Northern Marmara Highway, located in Türkiye. The project encompasses the construction and operation of a 31.3-kilometer toll road, featuring a 1.6-kilometer cable-stayed bridge, multiple overpasses and underpasses, and advanced tolling systems. The sponsors for this initiative are Rönesans Holding A.S. and Samsung C&T Corporation, supported by other Korean investors. The project is being implemented under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) mode with a 20 year concession period. The total project cost is $1.55 (€1.43) billion with financing provided by international institutions, including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) - $163 million, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) - $217.37 million, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) - $130.42 million, the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) - $43.47 million, Atradius, SERV, and a consortium of commercial banks and export credit agencies.
