Information Eastern Coal Fields Limited [ECL] has come up with NAKRAKONDA KUMARDIH- B OCP with a ticket size of 502.67 INR Crores. This project in Coal sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project It is a Brownfield Project. PR of Nakrakonda Kumardih B OCP 3.00 MTY has been prepared amalgamating Two underground units namely Nakrakonda colliery and part of Kumardih B colliery along with underlying seams of Nakrakonda OC Patch. PR was approved by CIL Board on 11.08.2018 with capital of Rs. 502.68 Crores in Partial Outsourcing mode [Coal departmental & OB outsourced]. EC granted for 3.00 MTY under cluster no . 12 group of mines on 3-03-2016 and its amendment obtained on 31.07.2020 with capacity of 4.12 MTY. FC : No forest land involved LOA for Hiring of Equipment for OB removal issued on 20-06-2020. OB removal has been started on 11-11-2020. Coal production started departmentally from Apr-22. Target for FY 22-23 is 0.60 MT, Achievement for FY 22-23 is 0.444 MT. Target for FY 23-24 is 0.90 MT, Achievement for FY 23-24 till Jan-24 is 0.190 MT.
