Description | The Survey and Records Department of the Puducherry Government has launched a comprehensive digital re-survey of land under the centrally-assisted NAKSHA Project to modernize land administration. The first phase started in Murungapakkam revenue village with drone-based aerial survey conducted in March 2024. The project aims to rectify errors in land records, ensure accuracy in ownership details, improve transparency, and integrate tax and planning data. Updated land records and a new Urban Property Card will be issued to landowners. |
