Description

The Tax Administration Technical Assistance Project (TATAP) is designed to complement a number of ongoingand planned Bank-funded projectsand programs, particularly theLoan to the Development Bank of Namibiaand the planned Program Based Operation during the next CSP period which will support tax policy and administration reform, among others.It will therefore support continued policy dialogue in the area of domestic revenue mobilization. The proposed Technical Assistance will finance the specialized audits, data analytics and related capacity building. The project is structured around two mutually reinforcing and complementary components, namely: (i) Strengthening the audit function; and (ii) Capacity buildingNamRA staff. The project will cost UA 250,000 from the resources of the Middle-Income Countries Technical Assistance Fund. The implementation timeframe is 18months, fromJanuary 2025to June 2026.
