Nangal Glass Bridge

planned

The Punjab government plans to construct an ambitious glass bridge over the Nangal Dam lake to boost tourism and enhance the region's recreational appeal. The glass bridge is envisioned as a major tourist attraction providing a unique experience and a new vantage point to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Sutlej River and Nangal Dam lake. The project is part of a broader initiative to tap into the tourism potential of lesser-explored destinations in Punjab and is expected to generate local economic growth by creating employment and boosting allied sectors.
