Description | This project entails the development of 300 circuit km of power transmission lines and a new 220/132kV, 2×160 MVA substation at Nangalbibra in Meghalaya, India. The project company, Nangalbibra-Bongaigaon Transmission Limited (NBTL), is owned by Sterlite Power Transmission Limited. The sponsor won the build, own, operate, maintain (BOOM) interstate transmission scheme under the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) with offer of $7.29 million annually for a period of 25 years. Total investment stands at $57.45 million, provided by Tata Cleantech Capital Ltd.
