Description | On November 26, 2015, a concession agreement was signed between the Nanjing Municipal Government and Beijing Origin Water Technology Co., Ltd. regarding the existing Xianlin Wastewater Treatment Plant in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Beijing Origin Water won the project through an open bidding process. Under the concession agreement, Nanjing Xianlin Origin Water Wastewater Treatment Company Limited was established as a JV of the Beijing Origin Water Technology Co., Ltd. (75%) and the State owned Nanjing Water Affairs Group (25%) to implement the project. The transfer price was US$ 61.19 million (RMB 400 million) and the SPV would operate it for 30 years. The equity of the investment was US$ 18.36 million (RMB 120 million). The SPV took over the operation of the facility in January 2016. |
