In June 2010, a local private company, Suzhou Zhongsheng Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. was granted an agreement to build and operate the Pingchao Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tongzhou District,Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. The project has a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters per day. Zhongsheng has a 100% stake in the project and the total investment is US$ 1.48 million (RMB 10.08 million).
