Napino Auto & Electronics Limited (Napino or the Company) manufactures electrical and electronic components for automobile sector (https://napino.com/ ). Napino has eight manufacturing facilities across India near to its automobile client (original equipment manufacturer - OEM’s) facilities and one research and development (R&D) centre at Pune in Maharashtra, India and another at Manesar, Haryana, India. Manufacturing facilities are located in Haridwar (Uttarakhand State), Halol (Gujarat State), Bhiwadi (Rajasthan State), Bengaluru (Karnataka State) and Manesar (Haryana State, where four facilities are located). The key products currently manufactured by Napino can be broadly categorized into four categories viz. (i) Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) products such as rectifier regulator and controller; (ii) Emission control products such as electronic fuel injection (EFI), and oxygen sensors (O2 sensor); (iii) Vehicle agnostic products that goes in both electric vehicle (EV) as well as internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles such as switch, USP, light emitting diode (LED) module, specific EV products such as capacitor discharge ignitor, regulator/rectifier, controllers, telematic unit,  transistor control ignitor, electronic control unit and (iv) Non-Auto products such as air conditioning (AC) controller and internet of things (IOT).IFC proposes an equity investment of up to US$40 million to Napino. The Company has a multi-year capex plan (the Project) to expand across electric vehicle (EV) segment as well as other products such as battery management system, motor controller, motor, DC-DC converter, battery charger, over the period of next 3-4 years. Further, the capex would go towards expansion of its existing product line.
