Information Department of water resources-MH - II has come up with Nardave Medium Irrigation Project with a ticket size of 781.85 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is included under Centrally Sponsored Scheme, PMKSY-AIBP and prioritized in 2016 for early completion. The Nardave Medium Irrigation Project is being constructed in Sindhudurg District on Gad river. The construction work of the project was started in the year 2001. The project envisages construction of the following components. [i] 1749 m long earth dam with the maximum height of 66.43 m. [ii] 41 m long ogee-shaped spillway on the right flank having 3 radial gates each of size 12 m x 5 m to pass flood discharge of 1504 m3/s. During inclusion of Project under PMKSY-AIBP in 2016 Balance Cost of the Project was Rs 601.18 crore Eligible Central Assistance was Rs 25.775 crore CA released since 2016 till October 2021- 12.07 crore State Share released through NABARD under LTIF till October 2021- Rs 196.01 crore Physical progress- 75.25 percentage Financial Progress- 73.92 percentage Ultimate Irrigation Potential is 12280 Ha Irrigation Potential created till October 2021- 1090 Ha Projected Date of Completion- June 2024
