Description | The U.S. Navy, CyrusOne, and Ameresco are collaborating to develop a 100-MW AI-focused data center at Naval Air Station Lemoore in central California. The project integrates advanced energy microgrid systems to support critical military operations and AI research, aligning with national security priorities. Ameresco will lead the work to co-locate on-site energy including generators, microgrid control systems, and infrastructure upgrades. The data center will be built on the Intelliscale platform by CyrusOne, engineered to meet Department of Defense security and compliance standards. The first phase is expected to be operational by 2027 on land leased by Ameresco from the Department of Defense. |
