Nashik Pay-and-Park Project

Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) is implementing a pay-and-park project to manage parking facilities across 28 key locations in Nashik's central market and business areas. The project includes 22 on-street and 6 off-street parking spaces in the Nashik West division to alleviate traffic congestion and unauthorized parking. Three private agencies have submitted bids to manage the project, with the successful bidder expected to be finalized within two weeks. The system is expected to be operational by the first week of January 2026. Monthly royalty charges for contractors have been reduced from Rs 35 lakh to Rs 15 lakh to make the project financially viable. Parking charges are set for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers, and strict no-parking zones will be enforced around pay-and-park areas.
