This proposal covers the National Erasmus+ Office in Israel's activity for the years 2025-2027. Our mission is to improve the awareness, visibility, relevance, effectiveness, and impact of the international component of the Erasmus+ programme in light of the EU's overarching goals and to support its promotion and dissemination in Israel. This activity includes promotion and support to individuals and organizations and relevant audiences, dissemination and exploitation of project results, support to Erasmus+ stakeholders and support to the team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs). Following the national circumstances and developments in the past years, the NEO will focus on the following objectives for the period of 2025-2027: • Strengthen democratic and EU common values in Israel’s education system and Erasmus+ collaborations and activities. • Integrate EU expertise and best practices in the Israeli HE system in the field of Inclusion, Greening and employability. • Nurture local leadership and disseminate best practices and results in the field of capacity building for the VET and Youth sectors. NEO Israel will maintain its important role as a focal point for EU-IL collaboration and opportunities in the HE, VET, and Youth sectors. We will continue to actively engage all sectors and relevant stakeholders in the open calls and opportunities the Erasmus+ programme offers. We will also work to increase the visibility of our online tools and platforms, projects’ results, resources, and outputs for potential beneficiaries and other relevant target groups, as well as actively promote thematic collaborations relating to democracy & EU-IL common values, employability, and Greening. The office will also focus on encouraging regional opportunities and collaboration (in line with Erasmus+ overarching goals for 2021-2027).
