National Accounts (NA) statistics are critical for policymaking and administrative purposes, and therefore the quality of these data, and the transparency of the sources and methods used to compile them, must be assured. Member States follow the European System of National Accounts 2010 (ESA 2010) in compiling their national accounts. The updated 2025 SNA will lead to an update of the ESA 2010 to keep European National Accounts Standards consistent with international standards. Testing how updates which come with the 2025 SNA can be implemented in an updated ESA is one core element of this call. Statistics Sweden wishes to apply for three projects in the current call for proposals, all pertaining to the ESA update: Project 1 (as numbered in the call for proposals) Developing compilation methods and data sources relating to the ESA update as concerns Data as an Asset; project 2 Developing compilation methods and data sources relating to the ESA update as concerns Natural Resources; and project 4 Compilation of Household Distributional Accounts for income, consumption and savings.
