Description | This project involves design, build, convert, maintain and operation of five heating and cooling plants in the National Capital Region of Canada. Canada's National Capital Region includes an area of 4,715 km2 with capital city Ottawa. The current system of five plants heat 80 buildings in the area with steam and cools 67 of them with chilled water through more than 14 kilometers of underground pipes. The new development will convert the system from steam to low temperature hot water and switch from steam to electric chillers. The concession period of the project is 35 years. |
