Description

Description

The Estonian Ministry of Justice and the Permanent Representation of Estonia to the European Union have nominated the National Foundation of Civil Society (NFCS) to become the national Contact Point of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme in Estonia. NFCS is a state-financed civil society fund that supports non-governmental organizations in developing different capacities so that they can pursue their objectives consciously and purposefully. As a National Contact Point of the CERV programme in Estonia, NFCS shall build upon its expertise as a former EFC Contact Point. NFCS aims to fulfil the following objectives as the NCP: promoting the programme at the national, regional and local level; supporting stakeholder cooperation at the national, regional and local level; and disseminating programme results and enhancing the visibility and impact of the CERV programme. The promotion of the programme will be carried out through organizing and attending information events, workshops, conferences, etc. (both physical and online) in order to promote the programme to specific stakeholders and target groups active in fields related to the strands of the CERV programme. Information will also be disseminated on social media platforms, NCP webpage, and through promotional materials. NFCS will support stakeholder cooperation at the national, regional and local level by mobilising relevant organizations to get involved with the CERV programme and by consulting activities. Programme results will be disseminated by developing dissemination activities to promote results and outputs of the funded projects that will provide a wide audience with information about the achievements of the programme. The main target groups of the NFCS are non-governmental organizations and foundations nationwide, which ensures that the information and activities organized as CERV NCP will reach relevant target groups and stakeholders.
