National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova under the Erasmus+ Programme

The overall objective of the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova (NEO Moldova) project is to improve the awareness, visibility, relevance, effectiveness and impact of the international components of the Erasmus+ Programme open to the Republic of Moldova in higher education, VET, Youth and Sport. NEO Moldova will ensure the support in the promotion and dissemination of Erasmus+ funded projects in the Republic of Moldova; the support of HEREs activities and the creation of synergies among projects, actions and stakeholders. Moreover, NEO Moldova will advise and assist all potential applicants; contribute to elaboration of studies, provide support to policy dialogue; maintain contacts with the local stakeholders and will follow policy developments in the field of higher education, VET, Youth and Sport in Moldova. NEO Moldova will assist the European Commission, the EACEA, the national authorities and beneficiaries in Moldova in the implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme. NEO Moldova will liaise with the EU Delegation to Moldova, Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, other national authorities to support, promote and disseminate Erasmus+ Programme actions in the fields of Higher Education, VET, Youth and Sport open to Moldova. NEO Moldova will support Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) team and HEREs activities in Moldova. NEO Moldova will organise informational, promotional events, but also events to disseminate the results of Erasmus+ projects funded in Moldova. These will be organised in the capital of the country and in the regions, in HE, VET and other stakeholders’ institutions in order to promote the Programme at all levels and ensure that the principle of inclusiveness is respected. NEO Moldova will fully assist potential Erasmus+ beneficiaries in order to develop qualitative project applications, to widen the thematic areas of their proposals and to promote the EC`s priority areas in the field of education.
