The framework is live and open-ended, allowing additional companies to join. The initial selected firms are positioned to compete for a major pipeline of upcoming substation projects. Laing O’Rourke secured positions across all three workstreams: EPC delivery, mechanical and electrical installation, and major civils works. The EPC substation construction lot covers turnkey projects typically valued at over $23.5 million (£20 million) on live 400 kV sites. The M&E installation workstream focuses on smaller upgrades and extensions. The major civils lot covers packages above $5.8 million (£5 million). |
