"The ""National Working Group on EUYD in Croatia 2025-2027"" project aims to enhance youth engagement in decision-making, particularly in relation to EU policies and values. Building on the feedback from young people during previous EUYD cycles (2022-2024), which highlighted barriers to participation, the project focuses on promoting youth-friendly consultations, connecting young people with EU institutions, and strengthening youth involvement in the EU Youth Dialogue (EUYD). It emphasizes inclusivity, with a focus on disadvantaged youth, through a combination of interactive consultations, digital communication, and collaboration with influencers and youth organizations. CYN, coordinating the Croatian National Working Group (NWG), leverages its decade-long experience in engaging youth in EUYD process. The project will reach over 3000 young people, providing accessible information on decision-making and EUYD processes. It will use a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to ensure diverse representation, focusing on marginalized groups, and will adapt content to be youth-friendly, simplifying complex EU policies. The project’s objectives align with the 11th and 12th EUYD cycles' themes: connecting the EU with youth, promoting information and constructive dialogue, and creating inclusive spaces for participation. Key activities will include public engagement actions, conferences, and digital content, aiming to foster trust in EU institutions and combat Euroscepticism. The project will also strengthen the visibility of EUYD in Croatia by utilizing modern communication tools like TikTok and collaborations with media personalities. This project will ensure that young people, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, can actively participate in EU policy-making processes, thereby fostering a sense of civic responsibility and inclusivity in youth-led decision-making."
