The National Europass Center Germany is part of the National Agency Education for Europe in the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in Europe. The National Europass Center is responsible for the dissemination of information about the services and tools of Europass and their implementation in Germany. Furthermore it provides end-users in Germany with the current templates from the old Europass document portfolio (Europass Mobility, Certificate Supplement, Diploma Supplement) and encourages the public to use them and be aware of their added value. The National Europass Center Germany cooperates closely with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder. Furthermore it maintains close contact to relevant stakeholders in Germany and it keeps close contact to other European network representatives in Germany such as Euroguidance, NCP EQF and EURES for example. At European level NEC Germany cooperates with the European Commission and actively participates in European working groups and cluster meetings. The aim of the current project proposal is to disseminate information about the new Europass portal and its tools in Germany, to train multipliers from the world of education and the word of work on how to use the portal in their specific context and thus to encourage end-users and institutions in Germany to use the Europass tools. To reach this aim NEC Germany uses a communication strategy that uses different key messages, channels and platforms for the different target groups of Europass – ranging from social media contributions to newsletters, mailings and website, to classic printed material. Through workshops, fairs and information events NEC Germany directly contacts end-users and institutions with the aim to inform about Europass, explain the added value and foster trust in the brand Europass in Germany.
