Description | The proposed investment is a Risk Participation Facility (RPF or the Facility) of up to US$500 million equivalent, to be equally split between IFC with own account participation of up to US$250 million equivalent (IFC Participation Amount), and Natixis and its affiliates (Natixis CIB, or the Bank) retaining the balance on a portfolio of loans financing for infrastructure companies and assets within a pre-approved selection criteria in Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Europe (the Reference Portfolio) with the capital preserved from the Facility aimed to be redeployed to finance energy transition and digital infrastructure loans in emerging markets (EMs) globally and mostly in Asia (the Redeployment Portfolio) (the Project). The guarantee under the RPF will be structured to comply with the directive for guarantees under the EU capital regulation requirements (EU CRR). |
