Description | This project will protect one sanitary manhole chamber, 120m of linear sanitary infrastructure and four pipe segments that are at risk from bank scouring and channel downcutting. The project is located south of South Richvale Greenway Walk Trail (Carrville Road and Bathurst Street) in the Town of Richmond Hill. Sanitary infrastructure protection works are required at three erosion hazard sites. Proposed repair in place natural channel designs include the construction of 30m of new riffles, a minor channel realignment, 60m of vegetated rock revetment for bank stabilization, and 25m of woody habitat bank protection. The permit requirements specify that construction must be completed in 2017. |
