Natex has three main points: In the Accessibility Toolkit work package, common parameters for barrier-free experience of nature are developed in the form of a toolbox. These include a cross-border analysis with criteria, standards and design guidelines for a barrier-free nature experience. As part of the work package, the partners develop a methodology for the preparation of these offers, identify suitable areas of eco-education and develop eco-learning programmes based on them and ensure an expert assessment of the state and perspectives of the natural heritage of nature park, which are pilot tested in the following work packages. The work package Barrier-Free Transfer is about the barrier-free transfer of content to natural space and protected areas. On the one hand, this is the barrier-free communication of links between nature conservation, territorial protection and regional development in a playful way in an online version, on the other hand the direct implementation of the natural area in the nature parks Rosalia-Kogelberg, Sparbach and Purkersdorf and in the Šamorín region can be experienced barrier-free. Another focus is on environmental education and exchange of experience. For this purpose, educational material is created, networking events and study visits are organised, training courses for nature guides, small entrepreneurs and multipliers are offered. The aim is to transfer information about the natural space in such a way that different target groups can have access to nature as barrier-free as possible. In the barrier-free pilot work package, the partners implement pilot examples both indoors and outdoors within the respective regions. The aim is to make “nature experience” accessible to all visitor groups, regardless of age, educational stratum, with or without impairment. It doesn't matter at which level there is an impairment — experience of nature must be infinitely experienced for ALL! The pilot projects include the construction of various barrier-free outdoor nature experience stations, the barrier-free installation of indoor exhibition spaces & information areas, the barrier-free design of a hiking trail, the realisation of natural tourism stations and the implementation of revitalisation measures of an urban nature zone.
