Description

Description

The main objective of the project is the valorisation of natural spaces in urban areas through a joint reflection on similar spaces in both cities, as well as the implementation of actions to promote and sustain achievements in both cities at the same time. This main objective will generate significant economic benefits: 1/The attractiveness of both cities will be strengthened: the attractiveness of the urban visit will be renewed by promoting natural spaces (original creations, works of art in urban areas). The joint communication of the two cities to the tourist public and the population of the region will generate a new flow of visitors. The valorisation of natural spaces in urban areas is part of a strategy of “premium” positioning of the tourist offer of the two cities, based on their common natural landscapes. 2/By the joint choice of the teams of landscapers in Lausanne and Annecy this project contributes to the development and development of this sector of activity in the cross-border region.Via the European and cross-border dimension of the Naturopolis project, and its media visibility, it is possible to estimate the increase in the tourist potential generated by the Naturopolis project to 500,000 visitors (multiplier coefficient of 1.3). The expected economic impact is EUR 140 million.
