The state government announced the implementation of the ambitious 'Nava Mysuru Nirmana' project to cater to the growing demands of Mysuru city. The project includes establishing an entrepreneurship university, a Metro service, a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub, a Skilled Mysuru zone for skill training and jobs, an integrated tech city, a health, wellness, and rehabilitation centre, and the Mysore Rapid Metro project. The project aims for comprehensive development of the city through a public-private partnership model with no financial burden on the government.
