Navajo Nation Independent Energy Office

planned

The Navajo Nation Resources and Development Committee is advancing plans to establish a standalone energy office. This office will centralize authority over energy projects, provide a single point of contact for outside agencies, and oversee operations, budgeting, policy development, risk management, community engagement, and regulatory processes. The office is intended to become an independent entity and eventually a full Navajo enterprise, aiming to streamline communication and reduce conflicts between departments.
